I'm enjoying a good work/life balance right now but would like to meet that special someone to explore a shared life and see where it takes us.

I’ve worked for years in social care and spend much of my free time working on my allotment, my other very p/t job is doing Feng Shui consultation work which I’ve been doing on and off for 30 years. My biggest commitment is my Buddhist life (also 30 odd years), I belong to an ancient Tibetan householder tradition; I do all the nice worldly stuff from the view of that work in progress thing called enlightenment. Something like a ‘socially engaged yogi’ I guess you could say.

I also have a background in political activism, these days it’s very low key, mainly around developing sustainable food resources in Glasgow. But in the bigger picture, the #MeToo awakening has given me a lot of hope for the future.

To escape I like to get inert and chill on my sofa watching TV, then will get up and rush about, there's always something to be doing. I walk and cycle everywhere as much as I can, and have a cheeky sense of humour. You'll appreciate all these fine qualities as they keep me sane.

As much as I would like to be outdoors all the time appreciating nature, my social circle isn't expanding much, and I found reaching out over the airwaves on my wee MacBook worked extremely well for me once in the past. I’m interested in dating and finding out about you if you are.
