I am a former Director of Communications Worldwide based in Paris, France —home as heaven — for 25 years. I retired early to write (selected Paris poems publishing in spring ’23). As well as doubling in English Lit and Philosophy many lifetimes ago, I am a trained-certified Buddhist mindfulness instructor and a trained-certified shamatha-vispashyana instructor. I’m also an avid traveler via BMW motorcycle, sail, and rail, and have seen some 40 countries and hundreds of wonderful cities. I know Europe well from the Aegean islands to John O’Groats including Scandinavia and eastern Europe. I know the Bahamas, Caribbean, and South America, too, though less well. Next on the list? I look forward to your suggestions.

My Four Noble Truths are sanity, stability, passion, and peace, not always in that order, with all awaiting perfection in the world. I can be ridiculously daft, numbingly serious, and find the Elizabeth Schwarzkopf-George Szell recording of Strauss’s final four posthumous lieder to be transcendent while always deferring to Milan Kundera at the end of the day: “Everyone says life is so heavy, but life is not heavy at all. Life is unbearably light, as light as a feather.”

As Ezra Pound wrote so poignantly in a fragment to his Cantos, “M’amore, m’amore, what do I love and where are you?” Indeed. I seek a Buddhist practitioner who is my Buddhist heart-mind, vajra-tantra other for only the most serious relationship. You are broadly, deeply educated beyond any trade craft, are passionate about and empowered by art, literature, and music, have something of a philosophical bent, and intuitively understand the Dalai Lama’s not-so-simplistic observation that all sentient beings seek happiness. Adventurous in every way — food, travel, big ideas, and infinitely curious about the world — you love to laugh while embodying intelligent, feminine sensuousness and unabashed sensuality. I shall recognize you by your interior light and the unconscious strength of your unabashed feminity.

I am eager to hear your voice, a studied, deeply spiritual woman with whom to realize a true partnership, unwavering and indestructible, along the Path.
